The 2022-2023 cohort of Undergraduate Digital Scholarship Fellows includes three students drawn from a variety of UCSC programs.

Nami Lee (she/her)
I am a fourth-year Art and Business major working as Video Lead at the DSC. I primarily work with time-based media such as film, animation, and video installation. I am passionate about research and enjoy learning about and supporting student-led projects throughout the space.

Dylan Waste (he/him/his)
Dylan is a third Politics student working on his undergraduate thesis as a Digital Scholarship Fellow. Substantively, he is interested in international relations, cybersecurity, and technology policy. Methodologically, he is interested in constructivism, natural language processing, and computational methods.

Ivette Orozco (she/her)
Ivette is working towards a double major in Literature and Spanish Studies.
The land on which we gather is the unceded territory of the Awaswas-speaking Uypi Tribe. The Amah Mutsun Tribal Band, comprised of the descendants of indigenous people taken to missions Santa Cruz and San Juan Bautista during Spanish colonization of the Central Coast, is today working hard to restore traditional stewardship practices on these lands and heal from historical trauma.
The land acknowledgement used at UC Santa Cruz was developed in partnership with the Amah Mutsun Tribal Band Chairman and the Amah Mutsun Relearning Program at the UCSC Arboretum.
