Course Reserves

Our Mission: Our Mission: Instructional resources, including textbooks and course readers, have become increasingly costly and act as a barrier to student success. UCSC Course Reserves supports our students by providing free access to these materials.

Course Reserves provides books, eBooks, and other materials needed for a class that can be set aside by instructors using the Book Reserves Request form. They are made available for students to borrow through the UCSC library Course Reserves Search.

For Instructors

Course Reserves is available for course support with physical and online resources accessible to students. Submit a request for print or electronic books by filling out the Book Reserves Request form.

For Students

Students can check to see if your instructor has placed any materials on reserve by using the Course Reserves Search box in the left column of this page.
