Welcome to the UCSC Library

Accessing the Library Online

In addition to our physical collections, the library offers many tools and resources online as well! Check out the library website to see upcoming events or search the library collections.  When not on campus, this webpage provides step-by-step instructions on how to connect to library resources off-campus. Click on the yellow button below to access the library website.

The video below reviews key library resources including how to borrow a laptop, how to find and use research guides, and how to use the UC Library Search.

Tips for Getting Started

  1. Your CruzID Gold login will get you access to online Library resources.

  2. Use the yellow Search box on the Library homepage to search for ebooks, articles, and course reserves.

  3. Stuck? Ask Us! You can get research help via chat, email, or Zoom.

Creating Digital Projects

The Digital Scholarship Innovation Studio and the David Kirk Digital Scholarship Commons offer a variety of equipment and training to support your projects that bridge the digital and the physical using 3D data.

We look forward to supporting your learning at UCSC!
