UC Santa Cruz Magazine (formerly called UC Santa Cruz Review)
UC Santa Cruz Magazine is a series of administrative publications published in September, November, March, and April by University Relations at UCSC. Includes Alumni News and Notes. Includes archives of issues back to 1992. Fall 2015 and previous were called UC Santa Cruz Review.
Santa Cruz County History
More than 400 articles on Santa Cruz County history, many with illustrations, are available on this site. Also included are more than 350 full-text local newspaper articles on films and the Japanese-American internment. Santa Cruz Public Library Newspaper Clipping File
Available online to all Web users. The clipping file index is a large collection of citations for articles of local interest which have been gathered from a variety of newspapers. The articles range in date from the early 1900s to the present. This is not intended as a complete index to any given newspaper and its contents do not necessarily represent every article that may have been written on a particular subject. The clippings themselves are physically located in the Reference Department of the SCPL Central Branch.

Full text of the current day's newspaper and 7 previous days are available, free of charge and searchable. The archives of the newspaper (1985-present) are searchable free of charge, though the site charges a fee to view the complete text of these articles.

Allows simultaneous regional searches. Coverage varies depending on newspaper title.
