Treasures from the Film Archives - Dataset
In Advanced Search use Publication Title to search for "Treasures from the Film Archives". This publication contains credits and holdings information about the silent-era film holdings of film archives from around the world.
IMDb (The Internet Movie Database)
(IMDB) provides information on over 400,000 films; in the left-hand menu, under the category "Other Info" is "Box Office and Business" information that is not provided in the other sources; similarly, under "Promotional" one can view posters and trailers (requiring Windows Media) online.

Film reviews and review indexes for older films can also be found in the library. The call number range REF PN 1993 to REF PN 1995 in the McHenry reference stacks has numerous multi-volume sets.

Land Acknowledgement

The land on which we gather is the unceded territory of the Awaswas-speaking Uypi Tribe. The Amah Mutsun Tribal Band, comprised of the descendants of indigenous people taken to missions Santa Cruz and San Juan Bautista during Spanish colonization of the Central Coast, is today working hard to restore traditional stewardship practices on these lands and heal from historical trauma.

The land acknowledgement used at UC Santa Cruz was developed in partnership with the Amah Mutsun Tribal Band Chairman and the Amah Mutsun Relearning Program at the UCSC Arboretum.
