Guided by UCSC students, faculty, and staff, this collection endeavors to showcase narratives that amplify marginalized voices, celebrate cultural richness, and foster empathy and understanding.
We collect recommendations for books about equity, diversity, and inclusion, and create opportunities to share these recommendations, hold conversations, and promote discussions as a whole campus community. Slug Selections for Equity provides a unique way for the UCSC Library to generate a constructive dialogue with UCSC students, faculty, and staff.
Does it meet format requirements? We are collecting books in both physical and electronic formats.

They may have sparked conversations, changed the way you see a topic, or shaped your understanding through a lens of equity, diversity, and inclusion.
