Grants

USAspending.gov
Government source for data on federal grants, contracts, loans, and other financial assistance. The website enables searching of federal awards from FY2008 to the present by state, congressional district (CD), county, city, and zip code. Includes data from the NSF and NIH, among other agencies. Keyword search results page defaults to the "Contracts" tab. You need to click on the "Grants" tab to view grants awarded.

Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation
Database includes grant and grantee information from 1994 onward. The information provided is brief.

CZI (Chan Zuckerberg Initiative)
Almost two billion dollars have been awarded since 2015. The scope includes BME research efforts, but CZI also funds advocacy, education and justice/opportunity efforts. The link above goes to the awards listed under "science." You can search by keyword, or look under "Program" to see broad topics. This database is only updated annually (that is *very* infrequent).

Whitaker International Program
Active from 2011-2018, Whitaker funded U.S. grantees to work internationally on BME investigations.
