Many databases have books and book chapters, including ADS. Here are some strategies for getting those books:

• Look up the book in UC Library Search. We may own it either as an ebook or in print.
• If you know the author and/or title of the book chapter, "book chapters" is a filter on the left.
• If we don't own it, you can request us to have it mailed from another library (also in UC Library Search)

Pro-Tip: You can also ask for only a chapter to be scanned and sent to you - which can be much faster than having the whole book sent to you. When you click "request", there is an option to request only a chapter, and a place to provide page numbers.

• If you have the chapter information (page numbers are best), you are all set.
• If you don't have the page numbers, try looking up the book in Google Books. You may only be able to see "snippets", but you should be able to search keywords, and see the table of contents.
