The Library enhances student success through programs supporting the development of critical thinking and information literacy skills in an environment with access to a broad range of student services and opportunities to build community.


Build tools and programs to improve undergraduate information literacy across the curriculum

  • Develop online information literacy tools based on the ACRL Framework for Information Literacy in Higher Education with an emphasis on the newly revised College Core and Writing Program curricula
  • Integrate the discovery layer into our online information literacy tool set
  • Engage in partnerships with campus programs that focus on transfer, first-generation, and traditionally underrepresented student populations
  • Grow local library programs like CART that provide research experience along with professional development in the field
  • Increase the Library's participation in campus internship programs
  • Promote and support open textbook initiatives
