Interlibrary Loan

What are UCSC's lending policies?

UCSC Interlibrary Loan lends circulating materials to eligible institutions. We participate in regional consortiums and reciprocal agreements. Our preferred requesting method is via OCLC Worldshare (symbol: CUZ). We also accept requests via our ALA form found here, subject to an additional $20.00 processing fee.

Lending Request Form

If our libraries do not have a current reciprocal agreement, all requests will be assessed the following lending fees:

Loans to academic or public libraries within the US: $20.00
Corporate loans within the US: $30.00

International loans: $60.00

Article scans: $15.00

Your library will be charged a minimum of $125.00 per item that is lost while our on loan, in addition to processing fees. UCSC does NOT accept replacement copies for lost items.
