Note to Students

This guide is intended to familiarize you with basic and advanced database search skills.  Some resources mentioned here are publicly accessible on the internet and others are library subscriptions. When you're off campus, library subscription databases require Off Campus Login

When using publicly available websites, it's always a good idea to evaluate the information you find:

Database Tutorial (Required)

Use the tutorial to orient yourself to searching databases.  Once you understand how to search one database (like Academic Search Complete) you can search in any of the ones listed on the Politics Research Guide or recommended on course-specific guides.
